Our Plan Can't Work Without You


Our plan is to attract the attention of local print and TV media to make them aware of what is at stake with Critical Concern Designation. We're asking you to contact other schools and colleges nationwide because uninformed politicians and greedy real estate developers should not be allowed to destroy a national treasure such as the Florida Keys.

Encourage your Mom, Dad, and their friends to get on board. Encourage them to write letters or send e-mails to the Governor and State Representatives. You can educate your moms and dads about the horrible consequences of losing the Florida Keys Critical Concern Designation.

Our objective is to save the Florida Keys from high-rise condo development. The way we do that is by maintaining the Florida Keys Critical Concern Designation. We began this campaign in response to legislation proposed by Representative Sorensen to de-designate the Critical Concerns Designation of the Florida Keys. If Representative Sorensen prevails and Governor Bush signs it then the unique Keys will forever be destroyed, because they will look like the rest of south Florida, wall-to-wall condominiums.
